The companies hosted within the Italian Scientific and Technology Parks network (or which have tight collaborations with them) are representing a group of thousands of companies with a high innovation capacity which do not normally have access to the growth opportunities offered by the risk capital.
An even bigger issue is the lack of a nearness risk, which operates in straight collaboration with the territory and which is, at the same time, managed in a commercial way by private professional investors; such supply should be oriented towards growth and value creation for the knowledge intensive companies.
